We are delighted to report a successful Educational Quality inspection in 2022. This is a qualitative inspection, the quality of pupils’ academic and other achievements was deemed to be “good” and the quality of the pupils’ personal development was deemed “excellent”, the highest possible rating.
The inspectors found that pupils of all ages have excellent attitudes to learning and develop good levels of knowledge, skills and understanding across the curriculum, with particularly high levels in music, drama and MFL. It was also felt there was a high level of success in extra-curricular activities, and pupil physical skills are particularly well- developed, and sporting successes are many.
Pupils’ personal development is excellent, and they display a genuine care and concern for each other. They show excellent confidence and self-awareness. Within the School, relationships are supportive, positive and strong, and pupils collaborate well. The inspectors felt our school was an inclusive community with a strong sense of social awareness and responsibility. They felt that our strong emphasis put on our ‘character values’ provides a clear framework for personal development.
Inspectors also said that all groups of pupils are well prepared for the next stages of education and later life.
