We are very lucky to have a second hall on the upper corridor. This is a multi-purpose space for workshops, assemblies, as well as a smaller sports hall for gymnastics, martial arts and general PE.

A large space which provides plenty of room for everyone to have fun. There are many toys, bikes and construction itesm to allow pupils full engagement outside. However, there is also seating that also provides quieter areas for those who need a little calm. The wooded area at the back allows for the whole school to enjoy outdoor learning and develop themselves through healthy engagement with risk, problem-solving and self-discovery, all within a natural environment in a hands-on and thoughtful manner.

Our Hall is a multi-purpose space where we come together as a school for assemblies, concerts, plays and social events. It is also used for PE and our Gymnastics Squads train and perform here. Additionally, it serves as our Dining Room, where the pupils enjoy delicious food prepared by our on-site team.

Our grass field is a super area for play and sport. It is marked for football and/or rugby in winter months and athletics in the summer.

We have a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) with a carpet-based surface. This enables sports that rely on a flat playing surface such as tennis, hockey, netball, football and general playtime!

Music and Drama are taught from Preschool onwards by specialist staff. The Music Room and Drama rooms are a flexible space which can be one larger room or two separate rooms, and they provide a space where the pupils can learn and perform.
In addition, smaller Music Rooms are used by peripatetic staff to teach pupils individually.

Computing is taught by a specialist from Reception through to Year 6, and the children come to use the IT suite for their lessons. The suite is also used for other lessons across the curriculum to really make sure that IT is taught widely and not seen as a discrete subject.

Reading is the centre of learning and libraries are at the heart of this.

The Library is a focal point of the School. It helps to enrich and enhance our curriculum and the School philosophy. It is a centre of learning and resources.

Pupils can borrow books from the library with an electronic book-borrowing facility and timetabled slots for each class. Their recommendations and requests are always carefully considered when new books are purchased. Open Library, at lunch times, gives the pupils the opportunity to curl up on a bean bag with a good book. We have Year 6 Library Ambassadors who help out with our library, alongside parent volunteers.

The main entrance has recently had a little make-over, and now it is a light airy environment. This is coupled with our welcoming office staff who ensure that the vibrant and happy atmosphere is tangible immediately as you are welcomed into the School.

Our Preschool provides a cheerful and bright environment for our youngest children to learn and play. Children start Preschool in September when they are 3. We have 3 classes, the Ladybird class, the Bumblebee class and the Butterfly class, with 12 children in each class. Easy access to the outside areas mean that our children have plenty of opportunities for outdoor play too!

Learning a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) supports an understanding of living in a multicultural society, provides an opening to other cultures and fosters curiosity about the wider world. Modern Languages are taught by a specialist from Reception to Year 6. The children learn French from Reception-Year 4, and Spanish in Year 5 and 6. This provides the foundation for learning further languages at Secondary School.
