UKMT Junior Maths Challenge 2018 Print E-mail

On Thursday 26th April 23 pupils from Year 6 took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. The Challenge is aimed at the top third of pupils in Year 7 and 8 in England and Wales. Over 200,000 pupils from across the UK took part. Only the top 40% of students gain a bronze, silver or gold certificate and each institution receives a Best in School certificate. The children were given an hour to complete a series of mathematical challenges under exam conditions.

The results have arrived and 13 of our pupils will receive certificates:

Rounders Round-Up - Miss Atkinson Print E-mail

Well done to the U9 Rounders Squad who came 2nd in the St Dunstan’s Rounders Tournament on Monday!





Well done also to the U9B team who took part in the St Christopher’s Rounders Tournament, and to the A team who took part and came 2nd!IMG_0192.JPG 


Rounders Success Print E-mail

Congratulations to the Year 4 Rounders Team who came 2nd by half a rounder in the St Dunstan’s Rounders Tournament. They won all of the games in their group and went on to play JAPS in the finals losing by half a rounder, 9.5 - 10.

Athletics, Rounders and Swimming Success - update by Miss Atkinson Print E-mail


Well done to the Year 6,5,4 and 3 girls athletics teams who have taken part in athletics fixtures at Croydon High School. The teams came first overall with great individual success and team success.


Well done to the Year 6A team who won the St Christopher’s rounders tournament.
They won all their games and won their group and the tournament.

Well done to the year 5 A and B rounders teams who won their games against Royal Russell, but unfortunately lost by 1 rounder to Old Palace.



Congratulations to the Swimming Team which included sixteen boys and girls from Year 3&4 who competed against Merton Court. The B team drew and the A team lost by two points! Well done to all those who swam, especially as it was in exam week!


On Saturday 12th May the St Christopher’s Swimming Team went to Guildford to take part in the Regional round of the Kent Schools Swimming Championships. Each school that was there on Saturday had already qualified from the first round.18 schools took part on Saturday and St Christopher’s came 4th in the whole of the South East Region just missing out on third place and qualifying for Nationals.
