What a Grand Opening! Images from a memorable day! Print E-mail

A selection of pictures of the opening of the New Heard Building, named after Terry Heard, featured below, in honour of his serving as Governor at St. Christopher's The Hall for 20 years. After the Headmaster and Mr Heard delivered their speeches, Head Girl - Zoe Dreaneen and Head Boy - Isaac McConnell held the symbolic school tie between them. Mr Heard then cut it, declaring the building open! Around 100 people came to support this event, including parents and former teachers. Our chef manager, Linda Martin, laid on refreshments for the assembled throng to eat whilst they were entertained by the orchestra in the Music & Drama rooms, each class had some treats delivered to them and the staffroom table was also heavily laden. A day to remember!
