Class Photographs will be taken on Wednesday 2nd May by Tempest School Photographers.

Please ensure that your child is wearing clean summer uniform and boys should be wearing ties.

We will be using the ‘Post Direct’ system in respect of the photographs i.e. children will be given a module and parents will subsequently be able to place their orders by post or online.

End of an Era! Print E-mail

24th April 2018

Dear Parents

It is my sad duty to inform you that following 21 years of loyal service, Miss Jill Atkinson has decided to retire at the end of this academic year.

Miss Atkinson has led Lower School for 16 years and been an invaluable member of the Senior Management team throughout.

Her presence around the school has been constant and reassuring for both peers and children. It is also relevant to recognise the huge contribution she has made, often behind the scenes, such as timetabling, assisting choirs and organising cover for absent colleagues to name but a few.

We take this opportunity to thank Miss Atkinson for helping to shape St. Christopher’s and wish her a productive and enjoyable retirement.

The position of Head of Lower School will be advertised in due course both internally and externally.

Yours sincerely

MR A. VELASCO

Headmaster

Walk to School with Mrs Johns and Mrs Conway Print E-mail

Dear Parents

As part of our school travel plan we have signed up to the 2018 Walk to School Week event.

This year the Walk to School week campaign has a royal theme to it to celebrate Prince Harry's marriage to Meghan. We would like all the children to create a hat that they can wear to school on Friday 27th April, using recycled materials if possible. The more creative the better!
The children will then wear their hats to assembly and some winners will be selected.

We appreciate that many of our pupils do not live locally, so walking part of the journey is fine. We hope you have fun designing your hats.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Johns and Mrs Conway (JTA Officers)
